Today was my birthday, and It felt like when I was younger. Just me and my mother at home who is sick because she went through surgery about 1 1/2 weeks ago, and today almost seemed like when I was younger when it was just me and her at home alone. Quiet days, not quite bursting with excitement but silent and brightly lit as much as most days can be here in Texas. We went to watch the movie Dark Shadows with Johnny Dep, and the story was... Darkly poetic as most Tim Burton movies are. It was kinda like a... Dark Romance Comedy w/ emphasis on Dark and comedy... plus romance.

Well, tomorrow is my birthday, and I'm already sorta having a mid-life crisis. I'm turning seventeen and I don't feel very accomplished as a person...
